3rd day already

It went surprisingly fast. And yet I do feel as if I've encountered a lot of new experiences. I've eaten things I've never even seen before. I've visited the local ruins of Myra and the Saint Nicholas Church, which were fascinating to see. I've touched many stones to get a feel for those places. So far I like it. Still a bit anxious, but I like it. The ramadan started yesterday, which was noticeable by the fact that the noise from the street and the traffic dropped significantly after sundown. 

Because it seems to go so fast it still feels a bit surreal. I suspect that I will get used to that soon enough though. One of the things that I wanted to see on my travels was a different nature, trees I don't know, animals I don't know and natural phenomena that I'm not familiar with. And that part of this trip is going very succesful. There's orange trees and lemon trees right outside, ammong others. And there was a small earthquake earlier. A natural one, not an gasfield induced one, which is also nice for a change. There's also a lot of sun, good times.
